Behind the scenes, they faced growing pressure on their revenue cycle operations. Extended A/R days were causing cash flow delays, while ABA claims were frequently denied due to manual errors in CPT codes, missing modifiers, and inconsistent payer-specific requirements. CAM verifies CPT codes and modifiers using AI, runs real-time compliance checks for payer-specific requirements, and processes each claim with minimal human input. Integration was seamless, requiring no disruption to Easterseals’ core infrastructure.
Since launch, Easterseals has cut its A/R cycles by 35 days and reduced primary denials by 7%. Denials for ABA claims have also dropped to under 2%.
Manual workload is lighter, compliance is stronger, and the team can now focus on process improvement instead of firefighting. The financial impact is clear, but more importantly, the automation gives Easterseals more room to focus on its core mission: providing exceptional care to those who need it most.
